DP18系列采用模块化设计，便于选择和安装选件和输入。可安装的信号调节器卡为大用户或OEM提供了库存选件和备用信号的能力用于转换输入类型、仪表功能或维修的调节器卡。对于需要灵活随着要求越来越苛刻，DP18的现场安装模拟量增加了选件输出、继电器和通信提供了一种经济的解决方案。

DP18系列是完整的面板仪表系列，带有电压、过程和温度输入卡测量和控制。电压信号调节器将测量交流或直流电压或真RMS。信号用于过程输入的调节器接受低电平电压或电流，这些电压或电流可以根据工程设计进行扩展单位。温度计将提供热电偶或RTD的精准测量。其他输入包括差分过程、称重传感器或电位计。结合OMEGA的广泛选择传感器，DP18系列是过程测量的单一解决方案。
